Solid surface brings five specific advantages that competing materials can't match.
Zero water absorption — SGS-certified at 0.05% per ASTM D570. Condensation wipes off. Spills don't soak in. No swelling, no delamination, ever. UV stability — pure acrylic solid surface (not polyester-blend) is UV-stable. We test our white colors for 2,000 hours of QUV accelerated weathering with ΔE < 2.0 color shift. Polyester-blend "solid surface" products will yellow in south-facing windows within 2-3 years. I've seen it happen.
